FAQ’s

  • Setup and soundcheck are billed separately to ensure the musicians are compensated fairly for time on-site beyond performance hours.

    • Standard setup/soundcheck fee is $150 for up to 1 hour.

    • For 5- and 6-piece bands, or venues with restricted access/timing, this may increase to $200.

  • We typically arrive 60–90 minutes before showtime to allow for setup, soundcheck, and any last-minute venue coordination.

  • We cover a wide range—R&B, soul, Motown, pop, funk, jazz, and tasteful throwbacks that everyone loves. Whether you want smooth background vibes or a packed dance floor, we’ll match the energy.

  • Yes! We’re happy to personalize the experience with a few special song requests. Every booking includes up to three custom song requests—whether it’s your first dance, a meaningful slow jam, or that one hype track your guests will go wild for.

    We just ask that you submit your requests at least two weeks before the event so we can rehearse and arrange them properly. If a song is outside our typical style or instrumentation, we’ll let you know if it can be adapted to fit the live band format.

    Want more than three requests or something highly specific (like a surprise serenade or family mashup)? Let’s chat! We can always provide a custom quote for additional rehearsal time.

  • We craft a customized setlist based on your event type, audience, and vibe. You’re welcome to let us know any “must-haves” or “do-not-plays,” and we’ll take it from there.

  • Yes—each 60-minute set includes a 15-minute break. During breaks, we can provide a pre-approved playlist so there’s no drop in energy.

  • We typically perform for up to 3 hours with breaks included, but we’re happy to quote longer sets upon request. Need dinner set + dance party later? Let’s talk!

  • We dress sharp and clean unless otherwise requested. From cocktail chic to black-tie, we’ll align with your event’s dress code.

  • Yes! Our smaller configurations (like the 3-piece “Pulse” package) are perfect for ambient sets before the main event. We can also play a curated playlist during breaks or transitions.

  • Yes, for most venues. We provide professional sound gear suitable for events up to 200 guests. For larger venues, we may coordinate with your AV team or recommend a rental upgrade.
